Recently I purchased my dream car with the savings from my grocery coupons. It was well worth learning the art of extreme couponing in order to own this baby!

My family is happy, which means I did good. 

Don't bug me. I'm in my happy place!

Yes I have a giant stack of coupons to scan at checkout, 
but I always have everything ready when I get to the register. No purse digging here!

My Other Passion

Another passion of mine is photography Kim VanHorn Photography. I have been in business now for a couple of years. This past summer I mostly photographed little league ball teams and also some individual sittings.

The Newly Weds

This is the photo shoot that I did for our 2012 Christmas Cards.

I couldn't leave out my other two kids. So I took this photo shoot Christmas 2013. That's Luna on the left and Molly on the right.

Woke up and opened my eyes to my dog Molly standing like a statue with her big slobbery dog face about 1 inch from me, staring a hole through me. Scared the bejeezus out of me. Good morning!!!.

I am woman...therefore I shop!

Advertising everywhere urges us to shop till we drop. I used to spend hours browsing the clothes racks and shoe department. However; that habit changed after I became a mom. Now when I actually get time to go to a mall alone, and or, with friends... it's my therapy. My time to dream and plan for my future purchases.

I guess the only time that I don't enjoy shopping at the mall is during the Christmas season. I hate the long lines, the fast pace, all the things that go along with commercializing on the holiday. This is the time that I turn to shopping via the internet. I did all my Christmas shopping through the internet for the past 2 years. No traffic, no trying to find a close parking space, no pushing and shoving, no long lines...just click and buy. Of course after the holidays, it's back to the mall for my retail therapy. These days that's about once a month.
